The development of reservoirs with a complex geological structure is caused by low rates of sampling and values of the oil recovery coefficient. This article discusses the effectiveness of the application of horizontal well drilling technology at field X in order to increase the efficiency of development and coverage of oil deposits. A horizontal well was successfully drilled at the X field, the trunk of which reaches up to 1,000 m.
