Measures to eliminate complications during the operation of the Amangelda gas condensate field

Abstract

Justification. Since the commissioning of the Amangelda gas condensate field, it has not been possible to completely separate the moisture contained in the condensate. The complete release of moisture in the composition of gas condensate facilitates the technological process and helps to prevent complications, therefore this is one of the urgent problems of gas condensate fields. To this end, it is currently envisaged to reduce the temperature of hydrate formation in internal field gas transmission pipes at many gas and gas condensate fields. When preparing gas at gas condensate fields, antihydrate inhibitors (methanol and diethylene glycol) are widely used in plumes, collectors, and equipment. If measures to prevent the formation of hydrate (inhibitors) are not applied during the extraction and preparation of oil, petroleum products and gas from wells, then a number of difficulties may arise, since during production its inner diameter decreases due to the formation of hydrate in the plume, sometimes it does not completely pass due to the hydrate plug. This, in turn, leads to a decrease in the number of products produced, or may lead to a complete shutdown of the well. Therefore, part of the produced products (gas, condensate) is sent to a torch or candle. These production complications have a negative impact on the production performance of the field.
